The Resident Living Department is dedicated to providing training and opportunities to the individuals who live at NMRC. We offer opportunities to these individuals in the most integrated setting appropriate for the individual. We are dedicated to providing interaction and socialization that is kind, ensures respect, and maintains the dignity of all individuals. We ensure that each individual has appropriate clothing and is well-groomed and dressed each day. We establish and maintain a friendly relationship with family members and invite them to participate in the day-to-day activities which affect their family members.

The Resident Living Department is the heart of the Center. We provide 24-hour supervision and often do this by going to a movie, on an overnight camping trip, or just on a walk. The staff often refer to the individuals we serve as their best friends and on a daily basis go above and beyond the duties of their jobs to ensure the best life experiences possible for all.
