Kerry Nichols, Assistant Director of NMRC
Kerry Nichols joined the North Mississippi Regional Center (NMRC) in the Spring of 1990 as a Director Care Worker. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, he became a psychology technician while earning his master’s in educational psychology. He served clients on the main campus as a master’s level behavior specialist before moving to NMRC administration as Assistant Director of the Community Transition Services (CTS) Department, and thereafter, as the Director of the CTS Department. In 2008, Mr. Nichols became Assistant Director of NMRC and has served under the leadership of two NMRC Program Administrators. Over the past 16 years, he has supervised the following departments: Diagnostic Services, Central Records, Engineering, Educational Services, the Foster Grandparent Program, Medical/Nursing Services, Nutrition Services, Pharmacy Services, Staff Development, Quality Care Investigations, Recreation Therapy, Resident Living, Risk Management, Support Coordination, Targeted Case Management and Therapy Services.
Mr. Nichols was the recipient of the 2024 Kinloch Gill Memorial Award which is bestowed upon a person who exemplifies a commitment to excellence in the field of community mental health and intellectual developmental disabilities services. Along with being licensed by the Mississippi Board of Nursing Home Administrators as a Nursing Home Administrator, Mr. Nichols is a graduate of the State Executive Development Institute (SEDI), has received a Certificate in Supervisory Management, and is certified in “The Reid Technique of Investigative Interviewing and Advanced Interrogation Techniques.”
Tamara Webb, Assistant Director of NMRC
Tamara Webb is one of the Assistant Directors at the North Mississippi Regional Center. Currently, she is the Administrator for Community Transition Services, Educational Services, Foster Grandparents, Recreation Therapy, Social Services, Team Coordination, and Quality Care Investigations departments. Ms. Webb has served NMRC for over 18 years. Prior to becoming Assistant Director, she served in various programmatic and administrative roles within several departments at NMRC, including Resident Living, Recreation Therapy, and Community Transition Services.
Ms. Webb is licensed by the Mississippi Board of Nursing Home Administrators as a Nursing Home Administrator. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management. Additionally, she is a graduate of the State Executive Development Institute, through the Stennis Institute at Mississippi State University, and the Human Resources Certification Program through the Mississippi State Personnel Board.

Dwana Harvey joined the North Mississippi Regional Center in the fall of 2021, bringing over 15 years of comprehensive experience in retail and office management. Her extensive background has enabled her to cultivate strong skills in communication, organizational development, customer service, and, most notably, resiliency.
In her current role as Office Manager for the Director of NMRC, Ms. Harvey leverages her expertise and certifications in Administrative and Executive Services, which she earned through the Mississippi State Personnel Board. Her knowledge and experience contribute significantly to the efficient and effective operations of the office.
Ms. Harvey begins each day guided by her personal mission: “To use my skills and talents to positively impact the lives of others and to create the most beautiful version of tomorrow possible.”
Kade Campbell, Administrative Assistant to the Director

Kade Campbell joined the North Mississippi Regional Center in the Spring of 2019 after graduating with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies. He began his career as a Direct Support Professional in Maple Point providing direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Mr. Campbell decided to change career paths in 2021 in a support and safety role as a team member of the Security Department. He served for three years in this capacity helping to safeguard and protect the clients, staff, families and guests on the beautiful NMRC campus.
Mr. Campbell joined the Director’s Office to assist Dr. Hayles with her endeavors and positively contribute to the organization by utilizing his collaborative talents and social skillset in a professional manner for which he developed over his years of working with NMRC clients and their families.
